Description
Before using the Stripping Comb, ensure that the fur is free of knots and mats. Gently brush the hair in the direction of fur growth using the comb. The blade of the comb will effectively strip away any straggly or unwanted hair, leaving behind a smooth and neat coat. To ensure your dog has a pleasant grooming experience, start with gentle strokes. If your dog is comfortable, you can apply slightly more pressure to remove additional hair. However, always be attentive to your dog's reactions, and if they become agitated, it's best to pause or end the grooming session.
The Stripping Comb is designed with a lockable cover for safety. To replace the blade, simply push the cover to the right to unlock it, and then lift it away from the blade.
Here are some grooming tips to keep in mind: Grooming is a great opportunity to bond with your dog, but it's important to introduce grooming gradually to dogs that are new to the process. Choose a time for grooming when your dog is relaxed, preferably after they have exercised. Handle the tools with care, avoiding any excessive tugging on the skin, knots, or mats. Provide your dog with plenty of reassurance throughout the grooming session. If your dog becomes agitated or shows signs of stress, it's best to pause or end the grooming session. Start with shorter grooming sessions initially and gradually increase their length as your dog becomes more accustomed to the grooming routine.
